Health, Safety & Environment Protection Plan
It is the policy in G.I.T LLC to carry out work in a safe and healthy environment, minimizing risks. The organization sees the importance of such a policy to protect its workers and at the same time the employees have a great role in these too.
General Guidelines To All Of Our Employees:
Always wear overalls, safety boots and helmets while at site.
Do not ride on vehicles that are not constructed for passengers.
Employees must obey all danger and caution signs.
Do not pick load in excess of the capacity of the equipment.
Do not tie electric cords to metal rods or nails.
Keep your job area clean. Remove scrap and rubbish regularly.
Protruding of nails in timber should be removed.
Switch off all electrical equipment after use.
Machinery must not be in motion when cleaning, oiling, adjusting or repairing.
Unauthorized persons are not permitted on job site.
Use eye protection whenever there is risk of flying objects.
Make sure of good housekeeping.
Report injuries immediately to superiors.
